| Pataskala distribution center latest to sprout
Raleigh Bicycles has set up a distribution center employing 45 in Pataskala, solidifying the area's growing reputation as a distribution hub. Raleigh and Diamondback bikes will be routed to dealers in much of the United States from a warehouse at ProLogis Park 70 Etna, a part of Southgate Corp.'s Etna Corporate Park. The warehouse will employ up to 70 in peak seasons, said Paul Mooney, director of account management in Ohio for Menlo Worldwide Logistics, which will operate the facility. Reed Pike, Raleigh's director of marketing, said the Pataskala warehouse will serve dealers in the Midwest, Southeast and Northeast. "We're very excited about the partnership with Menlo," Pike said. "They're up and running, and we're very pleased with the location." Raleigh and Diamondback offer a full line of bicycles.
Past ‘moneymaking’ seems to have come at high cost
There were similar Arab attacks in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. Then Israel entered into peace agreements with Egypt and Jordan, offered peace to the Syrians and Palestinians, withdrew from Lebanon, and pulled out of Gaza. There have been no "holy wars" or "wars for conquest." At present, Israel and Fatah, with support from Middle Eastern countries and the international community, are trying to establish the terms for peace and security for all. This effort deserves our whole-hearted support. The State Journal-Register headline had it just about right: People ought to look fairly at all sides of the issue, then support the search for peace. Stage 2 : Boonen bounds to California win, as Farrar moves into jersey
Tom Boonen has now won stages of major races on three continents. The big Belgian blew past High Road's Mark Cavendish to grab the stage 2 win of the Amgen Tour of California in a drizzly downtown Sacramento. Gerolsteiner's Heinrich Haussler came second with the recently out-of-retirement Mario Cipollini showing he still can turn the pedals with a third-place performance. Coming into the final 400 meters, British sprinter Cavendish exploded off the front of the field, opening a huge gap. There was just one problem: he thought he was leading out teammate Gerald Ciolek, who was no longer on his wheel. At around 150m, Cavendish sat back in the saddle, obviously expecting his teammate to come flying by. When no one came, Cavendish glanced back, saw what had happened, and made a last-ditch effort to keep the sprint alive himself.
Global Network Helps Tucson Man Give Bikes To Kids In Need
"We've got bikes of all ages and shapes," says Weldon Irby. At first glance, Weldon's backyard looks like a bicycle graveyard but Weldon brings these bikes here to give them new life. "See the seat, I'll put another seat on it. I've got the front end working." The 98-year-old retired master mechanic spends hours on end repairing bikes, everything from putting in new pedals to fixing flat tires. "I saw bikes being thrown away and I said, I can fix them." Weldon has repaired more than 200 bikes but he doesn't keep them for himself. Weldon gives the almost-new bikes to children in need. "You ought to see the looks on some of these kids that never had anything. That's the pay I get. It just makes me feel good doing it." But Weldon doesn't have to rummage through junk yards to find the broken bikes.
Police chief explains Children's Theatre probe
If so much money was involved, why did the City never ask for an audit rather than implying the staff was at fault? The City management is to blame if there were accounting questions and never an order to audit the theatre accounts. Also, how does this relate to the equipment the staff reported missing after one or two break ins? Do the police think the Friends stole the equipment???? what is going on?? Even running errands, Anna is flawless
Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova were spotted at Taste on Ninth and Alton on Wednesday afternoon. Kournikova was also spotted at the Lace Nail Lab on South Beach, ''totally dressed down in sweats and a green pullover and flip-flops, no makeup but gorgeous as ever, getting a mani/pedi simultaneously and requesting her nails be filed square with rounded edges, poring over a recent issue of Harper's Bazaar,'' says our extremely detail-oriented spy. ``She must have been in a rush to get somewhere because she didn't sit under the nail dryer but hopped into her big black Escalade with heavily tinted windows, driving herself.''Victoria's Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio was seen posing in several bathing suits, including a red number at Nikki Beach for a photo shoot.NFL greats Jim Kelly, Dan Marino and a scruffy Peyton Manning had a quarterbacks gathering at Fort Lauderdale's Café Martorano last Saturday night.
