| Non-Catholics can be saved
Sacred Scripture many times refers to the church as the Body of Christ (Eph 1:22-23; Eph 5:23; Col 1:18; Col 1:24; On the road to Damascus Paul encounters Jesus and Christ says, "Why are you persecuting me?" But in Acts 8:3 it says Saul was ravaging the church. 1 Cor 15:9 Paul writes that he persucted the church. These statements only makes sense if the church is Christ's body. 1 Cor 12:12-28 with verse 27 saying, "Now you are the Body of Christ and individually members of it." Verse 13 reminds us that we become apart of Christ's body through baptism. This is why the Catholic Church teaches that all who are baptized with proper form and proper matter are members of the Body of Christ, the church. You said...Doctrine does not matter. The bible says, " " .

Four years later, the Harvard School of Public Health found a significant link between exposure to pesticides and Parkinson's disease. And the National Safety Council warns that applying pesticides and fertilizers on crops sends particulate matter airborne, and when breathed in it can lead to respiratory problems. "You think about the rise in asthma and allergies and skin conditions and it's impossible not take notice of that connection," says Marci Zaroff, a mother of two tweens who founded the Under the Canopy organic clothing brand in 1996. Among the brand's specialties is casual wear for women and babies (the latter of which is sold at Macy's and, soon, BabyStyle) with plans for a tween line. In addition to the finished product, Under the Canopy makes all of its own fabrics - a business model known as farm to finish.
SAG awards cast in a lead role
TV Guide's coverage starts at 4 p.m., with Rinna and Fatone joining at 6. Rinna and Fatone were hired by TV Guide last April to be the faces of the network for red carpet events at major awards shows. The first for the duo was last September's Primetime Emmy Awards. Rinna said she was sad the Globes were canceled, in part, because she wanted to feel the momentum of going from the Globes into the Oscars on the red carpet. "I haven't seen Joey since the Emmys," she said. "That's what's so kind of strange about it. It's been four months. I'm looking forward to doing a few of these." She'll be in New York next week for a Thursday appearance on "Live With Regis & Kelly," then she'll head back to Los Angeles for red carpet rehearsals. "We have stand-ins come and pretend to be Leonardo DiCaprio and Angelina Jolie.

A day for politics. The Alaska Legislature swung into gear Tuesday for this year’s regular session and got things going with its first clash: a fight over the timing of Gov. Sarah Palin’s State of the State address. (Click here for the text of her address.) Here’s how some of the Alaska media that were on the scene Tuesday covered the first day: .
This Is Not an Emergency
John McCain, one of the committee's more hawkish members, asked Crocker what degree of confidence he had that the leaders of the Iraqi government will take the steps toward political reconciliation that they've promised to take. Crocker hesitated, then replied, "My level of confidence is under control." At this morning's hearing, before the Senate foreign relations committee, Petraeus said that he couldn't foresee the future beyond next summer and that he would return with an updated report next March. The Democratic chairman, Sen. Joseph Biden, asked Petraeus whether he would recommend a continuation of the strategy—with 130,000 to 160,000 U.S. troops shooting and dying in Iraq—if the situation next March were the same as it is now. Petraeus replied, "That's a really big hypothetical." Biden said, "I don't think it's a hypothetical." So Petraeus stepped up and answered the question.
Ellis, Croshere Fuel Big Third Period as Warriors Win
Stephen Jackson returned from a two-game absence with a sprained ankle to score 17 points for the Warriors, who got back in form after an embarrassing home loss to Atlanta last Friday. Golden State never trailed in the fourth quarter - a rarity in the Warriors' high-risk, high-reward game. Golden State took charge late in the third with an 11-0 run, including four points apiece from Croshere and Ellis, who went 14-for-22 and added six rebounds. "If we'd just play our third quarters at the beginning of the game, it wouldn't be so tough for us,'' said Ellis, who has 13 straight 20-point games at home. Kevin Durant scored 21 points and fellow rookie Jeff Green had a career high 21 for the Sonics, who have lost four of six. Luke Ridnour matched his career high with 15 assists, including 12 in the first half, but injury-depleted Seattle couldn't stay with the Warriors' uptempo offense in the second half.
