PGI keeps out HIV+ patient
We were asked to go to the clinic at room no. 3027of the new OPD. We kept waiting from 8.30 am. My daughter-in-law started feeling uneasy, said Gurdev Kaur, mother-in-law of the patient. At noon when my daughter-in-law began vomiting, I went to Dr Archana in the clinic, requesting her to attend the patient. She refused, saying she had to see a patient at the emergency and left. Till 2.30 pm, there was nobody at the clinic. Chet Singh of Kuraiwala village in Muktsar, accompanying the patient and the mother-in-law, alleged that a patient from Tanda Urmur waiting for his turn at the OPD had died yesterday. Doctors on duty at the emergency ward later confirmed to this correspondent that the patient from the OPD had been brought dead. Dr Archana B. Mohan, SMO of the National AIDS Control Organisation being run from the PGI, denied any such incident.
Misadventures in Atlanta
I cannot say I was shocked, when I recently read a NY time article, that said a very high number of people in the world suffer from low self-esteem and 85 percent of people in the world are average at best and followers instead of leaders. Think about it,if the above really exists, then how do you think each of those folks will handle their relationships? Will they think effectively and productively or will they just spin their wheels and hope for the best? If a man thinks less of his self, how will he treat a woman that has high self worth, despite the fact that he may be successful in his career, but failing in other areas, such as his personal life and finances? Our experiences as children often shape our ideas, thoughts and feelings as adults.

I really like Fred Thompson as a candidate, and at times he does well in debates. Tonight, for example, he ran rings around Huckabee on the legal ramifications of closing Gitmo and bringing the detainees here. But at other times Thompson seemed a bit lackluster. He still hasn't solved his "rambling" problem. Rudy Giuliani did well, as he almost always does, but didn't dominate as he occasionally does. I'd probably award him second place on the night. ADVANTAGE OBAMA By Paul Mirengoff There are a bunch of new poll results from New Hampshire, all of which were taken prior to yesterday's debates. On the Democratic side nearly every poll puts Obama ahead of Clinton. Moreover, a Rasmussen poll with a sample size of 1,200 (more than twice the size of any others) has Clinton trailing by 39-27.
GETTING PERSONAL WITH... The newest Piston, Primoz Brezec
At 7-foot-1, the newly acquired Brezec is hard to miss. Depending on what language he's speaking, he also might be hard to understand. But it's a good thing he has a strong grasp on the English language. And if you see him around town, offer to buy him an Italian cappuccino. He'd really like that. .
